Echo, Ala., April 11, 1885

Mr. Moses Riley of our vicinity had his parents disinterred a few days since, and their remains removed to the Centre (Center?) Church burying grounds, where they were again buried inside of a neat iron rail fence and tombs placed above them. His father had been buried thirty, and his mother, twenty-eight years, their remains were found to be in a much better state of preservation than was expected; their former burial place was in an old plantation.
