GEORGE W. (WASHINGTON?) RILEY

I saw you site and wanted to ask you about one of Needham's sons, George W. (Washington) Riley and Lydia (Lettie) Brannon his wife.  Of George W. Riley, 1) would you have or know of someone who might have a picture of him and his wife?, 2) I am curious as to where you come up with his middle name as "Washington", and 3) do you know if he was a confederate soldier (perhaps the one in the 33rd Infantry, Company B?)?  My relationship to him is as follows:  George W. Riley and Lettie has a daughter named Lenora,  born 1861.  Lenora married Thomas R. Myers who is my mother's grandfather.  George W. Riley and wife are buried in the Midland City Cemetery, Midland City, Al.  His headstone is no longer readable except possibly his birth year as 1833.  And 4) Would you have a photo of his headstone when it was not broken apart?

Directed to Robert E. Woodham:  would you have a picture of William Edward Woodham who married Elizabeth Ann Kelly.  They had a daughter named Laney  Woodham.  Laney  married Charles Paschal Brannan.  They had a daugher named Allie Rebecca who is my mother's mother.  Laney and Charles are from Dale County, Al and are buried in the Midland City Cemetary.

I am especially seeking a picture of the aforementioned Lenora Riley, daughter of George W. Riley and Lettie Brannon.  I have two pictures and believe one or both may be her, but not positive of either.  Would like another picture to confirm.  Would you or someone you know might have one?

Thanks for any help you might have to offer.  Sincerely, George Beck  gbeck@bellsouth.net
